East African Community Youth Organisation – Tanzania Chapter (hereinafter referred to as (EACYO - TC) is a non-governmental, non-profit making Organisation intending to create young peoples engagement in realization of the goals and objectives of the East African Community secretariat, which among others is, to create a people driven East African Federation.

      EACYO - TC is young people’s initiative intending to initiate young people’s involvement towards realization of the East African Community and exploitation of shared opportunities for the benefit of the East African dwellers. EACYO - TC is anticipated to work with and in support of the East African Community Secretariat.

       As citizens of humanity, believers of African integration, permanent residents of the United Republic of Tanzania, Republic Of Kenya, Republic of Uganda and members of the East African Community;Highly committed to maintenance of Peace, Human rights and Democracy within the Grate Lakes region and East Africa in particular;Highly convinced with the need of young people to exploiting the economic and social opportunities as a means to poverty alleviation in the whole of East Africa beginning with Tanzania;

      Greatly motivated by the mission, vision, and objectives of the East African Community secretariat; Realising the need to joining hands with the Heads of States in making East African Community and its subsequent Federation a reality;Understanding the need of having a people’s received East African Community;Accepting the abundance of young people in the general population of East Africa;

 Committed to creating young people’s engagement in realization of the peaceful and economically mutual, East African Community;We the young people of Tanzania on behalf of youth and youth organizations in the East African Region do declare to form The East African Community Youth Organisation to create a youth driven East African Federation.
